What Our Customers are Saying

It has only been recently that I have decided to have food storage for an emergency. I never wanted to feel like I was buying food that I hoped I would never have to eat. But Simply Food Storage makes it so simple. You can tailor your food storage for your family needs and now I actually hope to eat my food storage.

I have stored food for an emergency for many years. The biggest hurdle I faced was knowing what to do with it. I even bought food storage cookbooks. This Simply Food Storage program works! I plan my storage now with meals in mind that I already know how to make and use and that I know me and my husband will eat. It doesn't feel like a waste. It feels empowering!

I have fallen in love with Simply Food Storage. I finally feel so good about the food we store. It's not a chore or an obligation anymore. It's fun! My kids each have their own bucket and they too are excited. It took some of the fear about emergencies that might come.

This was a fascinating concept for me. I actually enjoyed and had fun choosing foods that I want to eat. It feels personal and I found lots of uses besides just letting it sit until an emergency.

I am not a food storage enthusiast but I do see some common sense in having essentials in case something were to happen. Creating my own food storage buckets plus adding in some already planned meals in buckets just because they looked so good, seemed reasonable and prudent. It feels good to have extra food on hand that I like.

Questions? We've Got Answers.

How many pouches in a bucket?

There are six vertical resealable pouches in each bucket.

How much food is in a single pouch?

About 10½ cups per pouch.

What size are your buckets?

Our buckets hold 4.25 gallons by volume and measure approximately 10" × 12" × 13.5". They’re designed for convenient storage, easy access, and simple handling.

  • Stackable design for space efficient storage
  • Plastic handle for easy carrying
  • Hinged lid for convenient access
  • Tear-away security tab for added peace of mind

How do you store the buckets and pouches?

Store in a cool, dry place at 72 degrees or cooler. It is not recommended to refrigerate or freeze.

Can I use my own recipes with Simply Food Storage ingredients?

Yes. That's one of the advantages of storing individual foods. You can combine ingredients to make meals your family already enjoys instead of being limited to a predetermined menu. Use the foods individually, add them to existing recipes, or combine several stored ingredients to create complete meals.
